Reply:Any single answer is WRONG. In your case, start with an attitude adjustment. Martial arts is the ONLY defensive weapon that can't be used against you. It does NOT take years to learn enough to be useful for defense. That said, I would still recommend getting and learning how to use a gun. Take martial arts as well. The gun is useless if you don't have room to shoot.
