How do i take out my full power in martial arts?

i have trained like crazy for a month now but when i spar i fell like i only put 20% of my power into it. When i fight theres a weird felling in my body that doesnt let me take out my full power( i fell ver slow like a sloth and dont want to spar)

Its quite good that you hold back the way you do. most students have a natural tendency to put all they got in there sparrign lessons, and end up hurting them selve or others. you though have three problems when it comes to fighting. first and for most, you are much too tight. practice your moves and shadow box, loosen your body phsyically. second your too tight, this time its in your mind. your worried either about hurting the other person or your self (which is good) you should never use your full energy while sparring (sparring is simply an entry drill that gets you over the intial fear of fighting and teaches how to evade and strike back). but to put more power into your techniques you must shed the fear of injury. and the third thing is that you are simplly unexperianced. it takes years for a person to get comfortable with his or her body and the techniques that have been taught to them to fight well, and thats just well. so there.
Reply:First things first if you only have been training for a month you have a long way to go be patient.


When you spar you are probably are trying to put a lot of power in you kicks and punches and your using up energy, if you try to use power you have to tighten a muscle when a muscle is contracted it is tight when it's tight it is slow to respond and your burning energy.


Stay relaxed and don't try to kill the person with everything you've got use speed instead of power stay light on your feet


the power will come in time after you learn the fundamentals of kicking and how to use the body to create power and when to throw the kick (timing)

Reply:just concentrate and take all the power from ur body to the part with which u r going to hit
