What branch of the military?

I'm a teenage female with martial arts training, I am intelligent, very much so when it comes to verbal. I scored 780 on my verbal portion of SATs. I'm not quite as great at math, but I'm fairly lazy when it comes to school. I'm very athletic and tough as hell. I can take a lot of **** and I want to make a difference. My dad wants something to brag about like, me in Oxford or Dartmouth and my mom wants me to be a kindergarten teacher or a gardener. I just want to ******* get out. Give me a branch of the military (Coast Guard doesn't ******* count)

What branch of the military?
Sounds like you need to join the Army.

The United States Army is the main ground-force of the United States. The Army's main function is to protect and defend the United States (and its interests) by way of ground troops, armor (tanks), artillery, attack helicopters, tactical nuclear weapons, etc. The Army is the oldest U.S. Military service, officially established by the Continental Congress on June 14, 1775. The Army is also the largest U.S. Military Service. There are approximately 76,000 officers and 401,000 enlisted members in the active duty Army. The Army is supported by two Reserve Forces which can be tapped for trained personnel and equipment during times of need: The Army Reserves, and the Army National Guard. The primary difference between the two is that the Reserves are "owned" and managed by the federal government, and each state "owns" it's own National Guard. However, the President of the United States or the Secretary of Defense can "activate" state National Guard members into Federal military service during times of need.
Reply:Well...

Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force...

Make your pick. Just serve your country well if you choose to do so.
Reply:US Army, there are some links: http://www.goarmy.com

Reply:Based on what you've said, I'm thinking you're a good match for the Marines. They're the first to go into any altercation, and they're tough as nails. Not to mention, their uniforms look way cooler than the other branches!
Reply:You sound like an exemplary candidate for the Marines. You seem to have all your sh*t lined up. I say go for it. You should be able to make a difference there. Good luck----------------
Reply:the CG doesnt count?! are you freaking serious?! the Coast Guard is an amazing branch. they stop ALOT of crap from coming into this country! But as for which branch you should join, join the Army. the marines are too intense. they are crazy. the closest one to the marines is the navy. besides, why would you wanna be out to sea 9 mo out of the year?
Reply:USMC IS always looking for Officers,or train you to be one.ARMY ranger group.Navy seals.

AIR FORCE COMMANDO GROUP.
Reply:Army!!!! the best of the best definitely
Reply:Definitely the Marines, we got the best looking uniforms, higher standards than the other branches, and the toughest basic training out of all the branches. We are the few and the proud for a reason. I'm not taking anything away from the other services they are all respectable and whatever you decide I'm sure your dad will be proud.
Reply:USMC!!!!!

Toughest branch out there. You would love it.
Reply:if ya want a laid back job join air force!! they have nicer barracks, bases, duty assignments as well as pay believe it or not.(per diem). Every air force base ive been to was so clean!! and had a bad azz gym. Navy if ya wanna see the world(seen 6 countries in 6 months) and also have a semi-laid back job. marines if ya wanna really get some and army if ya wanna poo in a hole ya dug with a shovel.
Reply::) "I wanna be a Drill Instructor..."

Hey, the way it was presented to me, "if you're gonna go into the military, go ALL IN and become a Marine!" :)

Army's the other choice - either of the green services. You'll love and hate life in either, but the Marine title carries more in bar room talk. Army's fun too, and probably can get you a better deal on college money, which will be important in five years.
Reply:Honestly, it is up to what YOU think suits you best. But you do sound like one tough chick, and can cut it in the Marines, and if you do become a drill instructor, you'll be the one person no Marine will forget, EVER. How's that for making a difference?cause no Marine forgets their D.I.
