I want to lose 20 pounds in 2 weeks.?

I am 200 pounds, 6ft 1 with about 25% body fat. How do I lose 20 pounds in 2 weeks? How many Calories do I need to consume in 1 day and how many do I need to burn in 1 day? Also, if I eat less for lunch. I am worried I will not have enough energy and get dizzy during my Martial Arts Training. What should I do?

Reply:Take your time losing weight. To lose weight in a healthy way, you shouldn't lose any more than 2 lbs a week. If you lose more than that, it's soooo hard on your body.
Reply:Omg nooo . Don't try it =( . If you over eat now...then eat less but 20 pounds in 2 weeks ? thats not impossible but you cant do it in any healthy way. But uh if you want to lose weight do cardioo thats and stop the junk food :)

Honestly, it can't be done in any healthy way. You ask what should/could you eat to lose that much weight? You would have to not eat anything and only drink water. You think you feel dizzy now, just wait.





At 6'1" and 200 pounds, you aren't 20% fat. I'm 6'4" and 210 and I don't feel bad about it. Just chill, eat a healthy diet, get regular exercise and find something more important to stress about.
Reply:20 lbs in 2 weeks? thats tuff but not impossible. the best way i know to do this would be a ketogenic diet. google it. this is a very low carb diet with high fat and high protien. according to your stats you have very little muscle. you should start weight training right away. the more muscle you have the higher your metabolism.
Reply:First of all, this is a lot of weight to try and lose in two weeks, and its potentially dangerous. If you want to try and do it however, this is the best way.





You need to eat small meals every three hours to keep your metabolism at its peak. If you eat less then your body will start to worry that food is not available and will slow down your fat losing process. You need to consume around 800 to 1000 calories lower than you burn in one day. This may seem like a lot, but you naturally burn calories even when your sitting around doing nothing. Look up Basal Metabolic Rates and put some numbers in. For your weight, I would guess that ingesting 2300 calories per day is a good start. You also need to incorporate some cardio every day. Try to do moderate training for half an hour and intense training for ten to fifteen minutes.


Even with all this you may not lose the 20 pounds you want, but you will lose at least ten if you do everything by the book, and very possibly more than that.

Reply:Hi, I'd like to start this with, "I'm no expert". Thought I'd share some with you, hope it helps.


I also work out. I used to body build and I used to fight. I now train for a fight that never happens. I also was in the Army in the past. I would have to help soldiers drop weight for weigh ins, etc. You can have a super lunch without fear of gaining weight or getting lightheaded, (me too on that one). Grilled chicken breasts, cut vegetables such as carrots, bell peppers and such with Rice. Snack on fruit if you can. Keeps Sugar up and Vitamin intake. You can try some Slimfast if you can tolorate it. Also, may I recommend Hydroxy Cuts fatburner pills should you be so inclined. Theres sugerless/fat free candies and snacks that you couldn't tell from the real deal. Eat, especially if your working out, just eat well.


About weight drop. We'd get the guy in sweats and go to the gym that had a "Wet" Sauna. We'd jog outside until we were sweating and winded a little. In takeing water in small sips. Then go inside. Five to ten minutes in and a couple minutes out, hydrating the whole time. Some guys and girls would wrap with plastic bags and tape over the sweats. It is extremely uncomfortable and you must be aware of the time in at the sauna. Go with a buddy. People have lost a couple pounds in one day doing this.
