What type of martial arts should I learn?

Obviously, this question has been asked a lot, but I want to learn one that is perfect for my kinf of body.

I have learned a little bit of sumo, kendo, and tae kwon do.

I am about 250 pounds heavy.

I am about 6 ' 4".

I lack in arm muscle, but do great with my legs.

I like unarmed/armed training.

I am fat.

What should I do based on what I wrote???

What type of martial arts should I learn?
Honestly... man, any and every style would be better than sitting at home thinking about it... My buddy just joined a Muay Thai school with me.. he is 6'3 350 (I am guessing)... you said you lack in arm muscle.. it would be a good style to develop your weakness (boxing).... you are good with your legs... perfect... with TKD front kicks and side kicks, add to it the MT round kick, and those newly acquired boxing skills, you will be one damn fine stand up fighter... I am not trying to tell you what you should do.. only presenting an option... It depends on what you want from your training... the level of teaching at the various styles in your area... and your commitment to learn.... those are all very important variables (more important than your body type) when choosing a school... good luck man
Reply:you should try some basic tai kwon doe
Reply:try jujitsu. just a suggestion.
Reply:Tang Soo Do is a very smooth yet forceful Okinawan form of karate. I studied it for about five years, and I definitely recommend it.

this is my school's site, though they've closed down about a year ago - there is some very useful information here.
Reply:Tang so do , is a great suggestion. But how about something that u can use your great size for advantage. why not a hybrid style. First off if you like unarmed/armed martial arts , then Krav maga is for you , it is the best martial arts out there when it comes to armed and unarmed training

Now you are not only fat but you are 6 ft 4 , definitely look into judo. its not that judo is a size thing , but just think about its about throws , and the taller the thrower the more painful the landing. and Judo is allot of leg power because there is allot of sweeps and using your legs , to pick up or throw the opponent.
Reply:how about aikido. This will compliment your kendo very much. since you have taken tae kwon do you can figure out ways to get there throws started by a series of strikes. They do some fierce leg training also.
Reply:check out aikido. It isn't so physically demanding and does not rely on strength or agression to subdue an opponent.

We have a few overweight students and even 2 with disabilities and they participate just fine
Reply:Do whatever interests you the most.
Reply:Take a look into Kenpo, watch a few demos on youtube.com and enter a few names like, Ed Parker, Lee Wedlake, Jeff Speakman (www.jeffspeakman.com) and Frank Soto.
Reply:Taekwondo would be perfeect for you. I am currently taining in a local taekwondo school. I am a gold and silver medalist from about a month ago. So, try Taekwondo. its fun. I am a low yellow belt.
Reply:Aikido cause you said you lack in arm muscle. There's no need of power in aikido, but have to be good in balance, so it maybe suitable for you that great with your legs.
