Suggestions:
For striking: muay thai, boxing, sanda, kyokushin karate.
For grappling: judo, wrestling, brazilian jiujitsu
For a mix of striking and grappling: shidokan karate, kajukembo, combat sambo.

What would be a great Martial Art to cross train with Nihon Goshin Aikido to be an overall great fighter?
kyokushin karate or shotokan. Aikido is a japanese art, so another japanese art could add on to the aikido stradegy. The reason I reccommend kyokushin or shotokan is because they incorporate "hard" sparring
Japanese jujitsu could also be added in to further aide your grappling skills making you an "ultimate" grappler. Not only will you be able to use yor sensitivity in aikido, but also have the ground game of jujitsu.
