Martial arts training helps you to be obedient to parents by giving you an almost military style of discipline. Especially in a traditional Tae Kwon Do school. If you are internalizing the codes of the Hwarang then you will become more obedient to your parents as you train in Tae Kwon Do.

You can start your report by talking about where the rule came from and why it was created.

The Five Codes were created by a Buddhist Monk named, Wonkwang Popsa after two Hwarang asked him for moral guidance.
Reply:To the aforementioned reference to discipline, I would add the emphasis on respect for seniors and instructors which would naturally guide one toward a greater appreciation for all those in our lives, like parents, who likewise have the responsibility to guide us in life.
