How can I get started??

I am 18 years old....I have been training (martial arts, physical training, weapon training, tricks, etc...) since EVER. What I have just mentioned is all my life. Now that I'm grown up I would like to enter the 'world' of films. In my mind I had always this dream (maybe that's why I started training from a very young age). Now my problem is: "What should I do?"; "Where should I go?". I've heard of people saying 'you should find a manager'...but where and how???

How can I get started??
Check the trades for casting calls that involve the martial arts and or some form of stunts or acting so that you can get your feet wet maybe as an extra in a croud scene. you would be amazed how many faces in the crowd get noticed in these films. Meanwhile keep competing in tornaments because actors go to those to scout talent.
Reply:Do commerials, that would build your experience up and find your self a good agent and a manager and head to hollywood!!

Reply:The first thing is to realize that there are thousands like you with the same dream. That said don't PAY anyone to be your manager or give anyone money up front. Be careful. Why don't you get involved with your local community theater, you'll be surrounded by people who will have some rock solid advice for how to advance your "Hollywood" dreams.

Reply:reality shows/competition/talent shows are the best way to enter the world of acting. all you need is courage and enough talent. once you've won, dont worry about managers or stuff like that. You wouldn't have to find one, they'll come to you!!!
