Self defence?

Hello i train in self defence and martial arts twice a week but i find that it is not enough, i have loads of self-defence d.v.d's at home and watch them all the time. can you really learn from dvds i find i have leaned as much as the classes, tell me what you think?

Self defence?
Of course you can! I once learned dance from video tapes. If you are patient enough and are dedicated to what the DVD instructs you will learn quickly and with precision.

You would learn more from the classes for the simple fact that you are interacting with other humans, and it's better training for real life situations.
Reply:You can actually learn many thing from watching movies. Things you've never even seen before in your life.
Reply:One thing that will help you lose weight: diet pills. I was one of those who did not believe in them until I tried it. And I tried a few. The best product I found on the market is made with pure hoodia and it works great! You can go to

http://www.officiall2you.info and order you free trial, also you only pay 6.95$ shipping and handling. Good luck!
Reply:i've done martial arts since i was three years old i am now 24, my uncle and dad started me off then when i was old enough they started to take me to lessons and in my experience you can only learn so much from book's and dvd's. It also depends on what type of art form your learning e.g. ti chi, wing chun, ju jitsu, and akido you would never learn from book's and dvd's because you need to feel for the other persons movement/energy (or their chi) and the only way to develop this is by practising drill's to develop sensitivity. On the other hand if your learning muai tai, karate, sakiado etc then you could learn the moves because they don't require you to develop any sensitivity and through repition you will improve.

if you need any more advice please don't hesitate to email me and i will get back to you as soon as i can
