and could arm and leg weights be good training for a martial art my frend tells me to take judo. whats that about (judo)
Who likes martial arts i like flipping, reflex, balance, and .....?
I would stay away from arm and ankle weights as they can lead to an easy injury. The best weights for any type of training is the weight vest. You may like a judo but you may also want to look into extreme martial arts.
Reply:I just answered your question about judo, but martial arts are a lot of fun, i wish i could find a school around here i could afford. Leg and arm weights can be good, but also dangerous. If you throw a punch with too much weight on the end of your arms or in your hands, you could hyperextend your elbows, and that is painful, even when there are no weights (try throwing a full force punch and missing the bag) just doing the techniques is pretty good exercise, and you can help with isometric exercises.
